2025 Maruti Swift: Maruti Suzuki is going to launch its 2025 new generation Maruti Swift in the Indian market around March 2025. Currently, the Maruti Swift is a flagship luxury hatchback under the affordable segment of cars.
The next generation Swift will now come with a whole new design philosophy and will pack in so much more than the current generation of Swift. The global launch is already done for the new generation Swift. Now, it is ready to show itself off to the Indian market.
2025 Maruti Swift Price in India
The 2025 Maruti Swift is expected to start at around ₹ 6 lakhs for the Indian market price. And its booking will also be opened in that Indian market after March 2025.
2024 Maruti Swift Design
The new generation Swift is going to get a new LED headlight unit and LED DRL with a redesigned bumper at the front. The side profile shall carry new diamond-cut alloy wheels and body cladding along with the shark fin antenna. From the rear too, it’s going to have an upgraded bumper with a brand-new LED tail light unit. Roof rails with the mount for the stop lamp have been added. The new model of Maruti Suzuki Swift is going to show an even bolder presence on the road than that of the current model.
Features and Safety
In terms of features, it is going to get a digital instrument cluster with a 9-inch touch screen infotainment system and Apple CarPlay connectivity with Android Auto. Other highlights include head-up display, cruise control, automatic AC control, connected car technology, wireless mobile charging, USB charging socket with a control for rear passengers, premium leather seats, an excellent music system and 360-degree camera.
It can also be seen with safety features, the top model features six airbags, electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensor, ISOFIX child seat anchor, and blind spot deduction.
Engine And Mileage
Under the bonnet, it is powered by a 1.2 liter three cylinder mild hybrid petrol engine which generates 82 bhp and 108 Nm of torque. This engine option comes with 5 speed manual and CBT transmission.
Maruti claims that the new generation Maruti Swift introduced in Japan gives a mileage of 24.5 kmpl with mild hybrid technology and 23.4 kmpl with a regular petrol engine.
Rivals
After launch, the new generation Swift competes with Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS and Renault Triber.
