Booking for the Maruti Swift 2024: Maruti Suzuki is preparing to introduce its next generation of the Maruti Swift in the Indian territory. The new Swift is expected to come in the upcoming months in mid-May.
2024 Maruti Swift Booking in India
Its booking is being done unofficially at some dealerships in the Indian market. However, till now the company has not officially given any information about it. It is expected that very soon its booking will be started through the online website and at the dealership.
You can book Maruti Suzuki Swift with a token amount of Rs 11000. It is operated in the Indian market with a total of four variants (LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI +) and several color options, including Blue, Red, White, Black and Orange.
2024 Maruti Swift
Maruti Suzuki has prepared the 2024 Swift for the Indian market. This will be the fourth generation of the Maruti Suzuki Swift in India. Newly generated Swift was first presented inside that 2023 Japanese Mobility Expo, and later was made available to other countries, especially those in Ukraine and the Japanese car market.
However, two variants of Maruti Suzuki Swift are offered on the roads of Japan. Internationally, it is also offered in a more sporty version, where it gets the technology of All Wheel Drive (AWD). Along with this, it is also operated with this ADAS technology internationally, while we do not expect it in the Indian market.
2024 Maruti Swift Design
Many special changes are going to be seen in the upcoming fourth generation Maruti Suzuki Swift. It is going to get a new bumper with a newly designed honeycomb pattern at the front and a new LED DRL and fog light setup with a new LED headlight setup. In the same side profile, it is also going to be offered with newly designed diamond cut alloy wheels.
At the rear, it is going to get a revised bumper with a newly designed tail light and stop lamp mount. Compared to the current version, the upcoming Swift is going to be presented to everyone with a much bolder and sporty design language.
Maruti Suzuki Swift is going to be prepared based on the same “HEARTECT” platform as before. This platform is lightweight as well as rigid, due to which it maintains strength in a collision with body protection inside. And at the same time it also provides excellent mileage.
Cabin And Features
On the inside, no special changes are seen in the cabin internationally. While no special information is available about the Indian market. It is expected that it will be operated with a revised dashboard layout with a new central console and new premium leather seats. Apart from this, AC controls will be given for the rear passengers with soft touch facility at many places.
In the features, it is going to get the facility of a large touch screen infotainment system with a semi-digital instrument cluster and Apple CarPlay connectivity with wireless Android Auto. Other highlights include cruise control, automatic AC control, height adjustable driver seat, ambient lighting, wireless mobile charging, head up display, pedestrian shifter for automatic variants, connected car technology, voice assist function with Google Alexa and premium sound system.
Safety features
Among the safety features, six airbags are going to be available as standard. Apart from this, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring system, parking sensors on both front and rear, ISOFIX child seat anchor and 360 degree camera are going to be available. At the same time, it is expected that blind spot monitor system can be offered in its top variant.
Under-the-bonnet engine specifications
This will be powered by completely newly developed 1.2 liter three-cylinder petrol engine producing 82 bhp, generating torque of 112 Nm. This powertrain will have variant in overseas markets with a choice of a five-speed manual or CVT transmission. The hybrid engine option will also be available in India, though.
The existing Maruti Suzuki Swift contains a 4-cylinder 1.2-litre engine and couples it with around 90 Bhp and a 113 Nm of torque to a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic.
Cost
Maruti Suzuki Swift’s new avatars are expected to retail anything between Rs 10 lakh to Rs 10 lakh in India. The markup has thus been tagged from the older model.
Competition
The new generation Maruti Suzuki Swift will contend directly with the Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS and similar competitors, such as the Tata Tiago, in the Indian market soon after its debut. There is plenty of excellent micro compact SUVs available for this budget, such as the Renault Triber.
